Default file names
Is it possible to expand on the default folder names to include the day?
for example 2023-02-24
Would it cause compatibility issues?

That's already supported - you can change it in your settings. '%d' is the option for current day. Or do you mean as a default for everybody?

yeah, I was looking in the wrong spot. been testing using include/attach.php
Couldn't really figure out what web-dav uses.

web-dav doesn't need a default folder. Otherwise anything you upload goes through attach_store() at some point. This determines the default directory (creating it if necessary), and calls filepath_macro() to set the date elements.
