@!Streams Hi,

I was looking what I am receiving in my stream from the same contacts in Streams and Hubzilla and noticed that in Streams I am missing some messages. I am not seeing "boosts" of my AP contacts. Just guessing that maybe when the repeated message is not on the hub, it is not fetched and displayed, while on Hubzilla it is? What is the intended behavior?

My channel type is Social - Normal and Friend-of-friend conversations are Yes.

We aren't showing any boost (technically 'Announce') activities which are generated by groups. Those boosts are only required so the posts will show up in Mastodon and are over the top here (you'll see a boost for every single post and comment in a group thread). In our world you should see the conversations, and not the hacks to make groups work on Mastodon. If the channel performing the boost isn't a Group actor, you should still be seeing them.

I made some changes in how this worked over the last few days because I was still seeing a few group boosts from other projects and I may have introduced a new bug while trying to fix it once again, so let me know if these are missing if regular channels are doing the boosting. And be advised that you can also turn off boosts for any individual connection in your connection settings, so maybe check that this wasn't toggled by accident. I'll keep my eye on it as well.
